Rns 310 v 113/11/2024 Then there is also the fact that the RCD330+ lacks support for diversity antenna, unlike the RNS310 and other relatively modern VW head units, this can cause worse radio reception. As far as I know there is also no way to get the navigation instructions in the MFD display like you can with a factory navigation unit. If for some reason this is unavailable (phone dead or lost, cable lost or broken), you don't get navigation. The RCD330+ doesn't have built in navigation but instead relies on the one provided by the phone. I wouldn't be so quick to suggest upgrading without considering the pros and cons. The RCD330+ does have some nice features but it is not a straight upgrade, it is more of a sidegrade, particularly when compared to an OEM navigation unit. Nevertheless, Bluetooth can be added as a separate module (which is how it is in cars with RCD510 and RNS510 for example). I don't know exactly what the difference is between the RNS310 and RNS315 but it would be nice to know. I also know of one guy with an RNS315 that didn't have Bluetooth activated from the factory but it could easily be activated using VCDS. Are you sure that the RNS310 doesn't have Bluetooth? Is that what makes the difference with the RNS315? My car had an RNS315 from the factory with built-in Bluetooth module.
